In a world ruled by witchcraft, Gerda is one of the few people who lack magical abilities. Although this fact is constantly complicating her life, the heroine does not give in and valiantly helps the family in running a magical shop with spells. Unfortunately, one day the girl's parents and her brother, Kai, are kidnapped by King Harald. The cruel ruler and the great enemy of everything magical sends Gerda's relatives to the Land of Mirrors - a gloomy place where no spells work. To save her parents and brother, the girl will have to get a legendary object. Unexpectedly, the only person who can help Gerda in a dangerous mission is her age-old rival - the cold and mysterious Snow Queen.
